Emphasis on the word "nearly" !!

Winter is definitely well behind us, but it's not all sunshine just yet! We've been treated to a lovely couple of weeks enjoying sunshine and BBQs on the beach, but it's still a bit nippy in the evenings!

We went out on our first Safari Drive... in search of the "Guernsey Big 5", we had to stay out a little bit longer but everyone left happy seeing a full 5/5. The weather was truly against us so thankfully our Tour Guernsey Ponchos had arrived and were stored on board ready for action.

May has also marked the beginning of the Cruise Ship Season and we've been conducting excursions around the island. The Royal Princess has been into St Peter Port several times and it's been great meeting so many happy faces as they come ashore!

So that's about me for today... the sun is shining and I'm off to climb to the top of a German watch tower - wish me luck!
